Learnership - Overview
RCM

What is a learnership? - Learnerships are intended to provide structured learning opportunities for employees that will culminate in the acquisition of qualifications that are registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). These qualifications may be certificates, diplomas or degrees at various levels of the NQF.

A learnership may be defined as a three-way agreement entered into between an employer, a learner and a service provider. The BFSC is a registered service provider with the BANKSETA and has vast experience in developing and managing learnerships in the Banking and Financial Services sector.

The BFSC provides structured learning to learnerships in the Banking and Financial Services sector.

"The Banking and Financial Services Campus have trained over 1000 learners to date in Asset Based Finance subjects.

We have experienced top class tutors readily available to present our Learning Material (registered and approved by The Bankseta). We offer in house tuition to classes of up to 25 learners at a sitting.

We provide testing on all the subjects via our e-Assessments, where the test can be taken at our in house Computer Lab, or at the learners place of employment ,via the Internet. This electronic testing has proved extremely popular has the advantage of an immediate rating of the learner, and the ability to re-test immediately or at a date, time and place acceptable to both the employer and employee.

Finally, we are able to offer Summative Assessments, (by Bankseta accredited assessors), to complete the Learnership programmes.

To date we have successfully provided and managed learnerships for various major banking institutions, all of which ended in a pass rate of well over 95%.

In addition to the above we have other specialised courses on offer in Asset Based Finance. We have also produced many tailor made courses for specific subjects for several of the major financial institutions
